Epilogue: ECSMGE Madrid 2007

On Tuesday Sept. 25, 2007 during the ECSMGE Madrid, we held a general TC 16 Meeting in Room 9bis at the conference center that was followed by a successful workshop on the pressuremeter. The TC 16 Meeting was coordinated by chair Paul Mayne who gave an update on the ISC-3 agenda and planning from information provided by our host - Prof. An-Bin Huang.

The PMT Workshop was orchestrated by Prof. Martin Fahey of the Univ. Western Australia. Presentations were given by ISSMGE V.P. - Roger Frank of Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees, France and by Nick O'Riordan of Arup Geotechnics - UK. Much discussion ensued and suggested a keen interest and hot topic for specialty sessions at the upcoming ISC-3.
