Meeting with representatives of Ukrainian universities in KTH, Sweden
During May 18-22, KTH hosted a group of Ukrainian researchers and educators from National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas and Kryvyi Rih National University (KNU). Main aim of the study visit was to present current developments of the ReNERGY project consortium in the field of academia-society collaboration for urban energy sustainability.



Participants of the meetings were particularly interested to explore existing forms and ways of supporting and promoting new energy education, research and innovation projects and to identify best practices for them. 



During the stay partners had presentations from KTH Industrial Ecology and Energy technology departments, KTH Energy Platform, KIC InnoEnergy, etc. Also partners had a study visit to the Hammarby Sjöstad as example of modern sustainable urban district.
