The ReNERGY consortium has extensive national and international experiences in the field of energy efficiency, participatory future scenario development and climate mitigation projects.
Several municipalities in Sweden are developing energy scenarios in cooperation with KTH. KTH and Tallinn University of Technology are participating in the Interreg IVA project “Central Baltic Cooperation in energy efficiency & feasibility in urban planning”, within which the cases of best practices in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia will be identified and described in a Hand Book. Universities and companies in Sweden, Estonia and Ukraine are developing new technologies for building up more sustainable energy solutions in cities. Ukrainian researchers have advanced skills in modelling of energy systems, which is a valuable part in process of scenario building and analysis.
